RIYADH, Jan. 21 (Xinhua) -- Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud dismissed on Monday the president of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), Saudi Press Agency reported.

The order did not highlight the reason for the dismissal or who will replace him.

The sacked Abdulhakim bin Muhammad Al Tamimi was appointed the head of the GACA in June 2017 at the rank of minister.
